This recipe makes 2 loaves.
Ingredients
- 3-4 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 3 cups plain flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350.
- Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add sugars, lightly beaten eggs, melted butter, and buttermilk. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour salt, and baking powder.
- Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and mix until well combined.
- Prepare 2 loaf pans. Divide the batter between your loaf pans and bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
