Banana Bread

This recipe makes 2 loaves.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add sugars, lightly beaten eggs, melted butter, and buttermilk. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour salt, and baking powder.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Prepare 2 loaf pans. Divide the batter between your loaf pans and bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
